PARIS – October 2, 2024 – Prophesee, inventor of the most advanced neuromorphic vision systems, will showcase new products with AMD, CIS, IDS, Lucid Vision Labs and the industry’s first automated defect detection demo together with Japanese expert Luci.
Secure your private meeting today for in-depth insights from our experts and product demonstrations at booth 8B29. Prophesee will also deliver an overview of its event-based platform on Tuesday, 8 October at 11:00 (Hall 8 Booth C70), entitled “Revolutionizing Industrial Automation with Event-Based Vision.”
Prophesee’s Metavision® platform has gained traction with leading developers of machine vision systems in industrial automation, XR, robotics, mobile and IoT. Its event-based vision approach drastically increases acquisition speed while cutting the amount of data captured, thanks to its breakthrough event-based, shutter-free sensor design and AI algorithms.
Industrial use cases featured live at VISION include fluid dynamics, particle size monitoring, surface monitoring, high-speed depth sensing, 3D pose estimation, and ultra-low power smart wake-up features.
The company’s breakthrough sensors and AI algorithms are at the foundation of several announcements and demonstrations at the show, including:
- Lucid Vision Labs: Expanding the Triton2 – 2.5GigE camera family, Lucid will showcase two new models for advanced sensing applications. The Triton2 EVS event-based 2.5GigE camera, powered by jointly developed Sony – Prophesee IMX636 / IMX637 event-based vision sensor is designed to deliver enhanced performance, lower power consumption, and greater flexibility for machine vision applications. It is ideal for motion analysis, vibration monitoring, object tracking, optical flow, autonomous driving, and high-speed detection.
- IDS: A first demonstration of the upcoming company’s uEye XCP featuring Prophesee event-based vision sensor will show how the technology greatly benefits motion analysis and high-speed counting applications. IDS will show a live, high-speed airflow particle motion visualization at their booth.
- Luci: Prophesee will demonstrate its event-based sensing and machine learning algorithms used to automatically detect and classify the finest imperfections in manufacturing materials, leveraging Luci’s expertise in inspection systems design. Typical use cases include paint defect inspection, scratch detection, and planarity testing.
- AMD: A demonstration of the market-leading FPGA-based AMD Kria™ Vision AI platform, featuring the Prophesee Genx320 event-based vision sensor. The comprehensive starter kit allows engineers to evaluate and execute rapid product development of event-based embedded vision systems thanks to plug-and-play hardware, software drivers and powerful customizable application algorithm examples.
- CIS: CIS reveals their surveillance/monitoring system that combines the power of Prophesee’s GenX320 event-based sensing with embedded AI processing running on the NXP i.MX8MPlus platform. The low-power, high-performance solution unlocks new opportunities for edge-based applications such as people detection and remote monitoring.
