Luca Verre delivers a closing keynote speech at MEMS World Summit
We were at MEMS World Summit in Shanghai, China this month where Luca Verre delivered the closing keynote speech.
The conference bills itself as the world’s largest gathering of senior executives in the MEMS industry. This year, under the theme of “The Connected World,” executives and researchers from some of the world’s top electronics companies, like ST Microelectronics Qualcomm.
Alibaba, Huawei, Applied Materials and LAM Research met and talked about the challenges and opportunities for devices that improve connectivity and sensing in a wide range of applications.
Luca presented the Prophesee view of the changing, connected world. Our perspective centers on how we can help machines see better through our unique event-based vision processing approach.
Luca spoke about how our novel combination of artificial intelligence and computer vision technologies mimic the human eye and brain to deliver advantages over traditional frame-based vision – including increase in performance, reduction in data processed and lower power requirements.
The audience came from a variety of industries and we talked mainly about how the Prophesee technology can be used in three main applications areas: Industrial Automation, Mobile/IoT and Automotive.
We were honored to have received the Best Presentation Award at the end of the event.
