Prophesee today announced the appointment of digital imaging and machine vision industry veteran Ray Cisneros to the position of Vice President, Global Sales and Marketing

In this role, Cisneros will develop strategies to expand on the momentum and worldwide market adoption of Prophesee’s event-based vision platform in key industry segments, including industrial automation, automotive, surveillance and consumer/mobile.

Cisneros has over 20 years of experience in sales and marketing roles in the areas of CMOS image sensors, deep neural network-based software solutions for perception, semiconductor process equipment and fiber optics.  He has deep relationships in key market segments such as automotive/ADAS, robotics, surveillance/security and mobile electronics. 

Prior to joining Prophesee, Ray served as the Vice President of Global Sales for Algolux, a start-up delivering a revolutionary, deep neural network-based perception software solution for the automotive, surveillance and autonomous mobile robot markets.  Prior to Algolux, Ray served as the Senior Vice President of Sales for OmniVision, a leader in CMOS image sensors and imaging solutions. At OmniVision he played a critical role in growing the company from $50M to $1.5B in 10 years during the explosive growth of digital imaging solutions in the mobile, consumer, automotive, surveillance and industrial markets.  Ray holds a B.S. in Metallurgical Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology and an M.B.A. from Golden Gate University.
